Richtig isch mit -ing!
Aber umgangssproochlich chasch beides bruuche... aber au wirklig nur umgangssproochlich; schriftlig isch NUR mit -ing!

Was nicht bedeutet, dass beides richtig ist. Etwa das gleiche Verhältnis an Google-Ergebnissen:
"nähmlich" (falsch) - "nämlich" (richtig)
400'000 : 8'000'000
"forward to hear from you" - "forward to hearing from you"
150'000 : 3'400'000

Also gutes englisch waere "we look forward to hearing from you"
"we're looking forward to hearing from you" ist auch moeglich, scheint mir aber eher umgangssprachlich.
Aber "we're looking forward to hear from you" oder "we look forward to hear from you" ist beides falsch.

Both are correct (!!!)
hear = this could be used to say "we are waiting for an answer (or news)" soon !!!
hearing = this could be used to say "waiting for you to contact us"
